*Early bird, Student and Registration fees include lunch, morning and afternoon tea breaks, workshops and cocktail recpetion.

Student Discount: to receive the student discount please have your supervisor send a confirmation email to indicating that you are currently enrolled as a student.  This letter must be received prior to 15 October 2015.

Demonstration Fees ($AUS)
Focus Demo $200 + registration fee
Demo Booth $  75 + registration fee (organisational fee)
Demo Booth $300 + registration fee (commercial fee)

The program provides two ways to present demonstrations. A Focus Demo is a special session that is scheduled into the program for presentation in the plenary hall during one of the poster sessions. The presenter gets 30 minutes to demonstrate a software product or system using either the conference computer (for web-based tools or services) or his/her own laptop.

A Demo Booth is space on the lobby floor for the entire conference that includes a table, a poster display board, and a wireless internet connection. Participants with a demo booth bring their own computers for connection to the internet and monitor.

Abstract Submissions
Scientific contributions to the ADASS conference can be in oral or poster form and must adhere to ADASS Presentation and Publication Policy.  In particular:

  • The first author is the presenting author, and must attend the conference
  • Registered attendees may present only one contributed paper (oral or poster)
  • Attendees or collaborators may be co-authors on any number of presentations
  • Presenters may also contribute to one demo
  • Only papers that are presented at the conference will be published in the proceedings

Please note that the deadline to submit abstracts for oral presentations is 1 July 2015.  Poster presentations will be accepted until 30 August 2015 dependent on floor space.

Poster Instructions:
Posters should be A0 in size (841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8 inches) and should be Portrait (vertical) in orientation.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please contact the LOC via  There will be a $100 processing fee for all cancellations prior to 1 September, 2015. Thereafter, no refunds will be offered.
