Public Outreach

We are focused on communicating CAASTRO’s scientific output to the public by using astronomy in public lectures, visual displays and community events to advance the public’s awareness of science and the scientific process.

The public will be able to connect with CAASTRO researchers through a variety of activities that are designed to make our science accessible for everyone. An important aspect of this is our strong emphasis on producing lay summaries of publications and video material for educational and entertainment purposes.

For an even tighter connection to CAASTRO, members of the public can become ‘Friends of CAASTRO’ and receive our quarterly newsletters.
