6th International PHISCC Workshop

The SKA Pathfinders HI Survey Coordination Committee (PHISCC) holds regular international meetings to discuss scientific issues relevant to future large HI surveys and technical and other issues where collaboration between the SKA pathfinder teams can be mutually beneficial. As well as providing a general update on progress and plans for upcoming HI surveys on the various SKA Pathfinder and Precursor telescopes, the 2013 PHISCC workshop will focus on techniques, tools and plans for studies of galaxy velocity fields with large optical and radio surveys.

Title of Workshop: Galaxy velocity fields from large HI and optical surveys

Workshop Dates: Wednesday 19 June 2013 - Friday 21 June 2013

Other Related Workshops
An associated two-day technical workshop will focus on Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) issues relevant to future large 21cm spectral-line surveys.
This will be held from 17-18 June 2013 at the CSIRO, Marsfield. For more information look at the website for the technical workshop.
