Local area CAASTRO meetings

Sydney

Usually on the second Monday (University of Sydney) or second Wednesday (ATNF or AAO) of the month, alternating between Camperdown and Marsfield. Occasional excursions expected to Canberra and Brisbane.

Upcoming:

• Monday 21 May 2012, 2pm
  This will be a joint meeting between Sydney and Brisbane, held by video conference between The University of Sydney and The University of Queensland. Director Bryan Gaensler will provide an update on recent CAASTRO activities, and then Tamara Davis, Signe Riemer-Sørensen and David Parkinson will present new results on cosmology from analysis of WiggleZ.
  The meeting is open - all members of CAASTRO plus anyone else interested are welcome to attend. Video conferencing to the meeting will be available by connecting to CAASTRO room 5002 (external: 5002@129.78.137.162). Melbourne

Held on the first Wednesday of each month, alternating between University of Melbourne (Dr Jamie Bolton) and Swinburne University (Prof Jeremy Mould).
